For the fourth installment of the Silencio Serie M line, General Cigar Co. created the Reserva Roja, a blend that retains the same Nicaraguan corojo wrapper that the Serie M line has used since debuting in 2021 but with a Nicaraguan corojo binder and the filler coming from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is offered in one vitola, a 6 1/2 x 54 toro gordo that General Cigar Co. calls a Magnum.
While the Silencio Serie M Reserva Roja keeps the Miami-made trend going, it does depart from the packaging of the previous three releases, as this line gets a burgundy color scheme instead of the forest green color of the previous releases, as well as a new design on the boxes, though one that keeps with a gold, art deco design.
“In collaboration with Sandy Cobas, we’re proud to build on the narrative of Silencio Serie M by releasing a one-of-a-kind cigar that is equal parts timeless and unique,” said Sean Williams, brand ambassador for Silencio, via a press release. “With Silencio Serie M Reserva Roja, the collective expertise of El Titan de Bronze and the mastery of our Silencio team comes to life in an artisanal blend that was created to deliver a memorable smoking experience.”
