More than a partnership, Macanudo Estate Reserve was born of a shared appreciation for two artisanal crafts. Using tobacco aged in French Oak barrels used to mature Flint Knoll Winery’s prestigious 2018 Royal Appointment Cabernet, Estate Reserve is heavily influenced by Napa Valley’s near-perfect growing. The 2018 season was marked by early-season rain and consistently warm, but not scorching, summer days, yielding a wine with dark fruit flavors and a lush, heavy finish.

Aging the tobaccos in the barrels influenced by this wine, Macanudo Estate Reserve Release No. 1 is a smooth and opulent cigar with notes of cedar, vanilla and the dark fruited wine by which it was influenced.
